According to the WHO, 1.13 billion people have hypertension worldwide. But less than 1 in 5 people have it under control.

One of the ways to prevent hypertension is to avoid building up stress in your body. Because chronic stress can cause damage when ignored.

When chronic stress occurs, you’ll always find yourself in a dull mood. And this will often make you tired, overwhelmed, and depressed.

There may even be the fear of being alone and losing motivation — even to leave your bedroom.

When you notice these signs, it’s your body’s way of asking for change. But this doesn’t mean you must do something “big”.

Here are a few things you can do to de-stress:

[1] Watch movies

[2] Speak/hangout with your friends

[3] Workout at home

[4] Meditate

[5] Have some rest

When it comes to being healthy, it starts with the little things — what matters is consistency.
